Today, minutes before dinner (actually I was late to the table), I validated my word count via Camp NaNo magic and saw that I was clocked in at 50,172 words! Woot! We won!
Here's the bad news...Stealth isn't finished. While I reached 50k I am unhappy with where the book ended and I never intended to make it more than a standalone novel, therefore I will be returning to Stealth in June and hopefully get that finished and up and on the editor's block shortly after. So what's happening between now and then? First, I will be creating a page for Stealth up there next to Keeper's this weekend. Then, in celebration of completing the challenge I will post a few character bios and a synopsis for the book. My goal is to then to polish up a segment of the book as a preview to share with you. May will be dedicated to (catching up on my pending book reviews) and editing a v2.0 of Keeper's Conundrum. Thank you to everyone for the continued support this past 30 day, I couldn't have done it without you all. This is the second NaNo event I have participated and after missing the mark last November I am ECSTATIC to have completed this month's challenge.
