Alright, it's time we had that talk blog. You know the one I'm talking about. The one where I put it off for weeks for fear of hurting your feelings and when I do get around to telling you you resent me and get angry. You'll pout and less people will come to read you and eventually you'll start to hate me for taking away your attention. Eventually, you will come to realize that I never intended to hurt you, but rather I am doing this for your own good, and you'll see that. In time.
Yeah, that talk. Let's start with the positivity sandwich!
NaNoWriMo is carrying on and I am holding steady! I managed to get myself two days ahead, only to have some personal reasons as to why I am now back "on track" and not ahead. My average has been closer to 2k a day than 1.6k and I even beat a personal record! While running a 1k3om sprint (1k words in 30 minutes) I actually hit 1,011 words! My first time reaching 1k!
So overall, NaNo is going and I'll continue to keep trucking on.
Now for the "bad" news.
As the title of the blog suggests, I've done some thinking, and it's time I reset my priorities.
When I started this site it was to inspire me to write, track my progress, and share my process with the world. Somewhere in the last two years, I've lost that. The way I see it today Imaginary Adventures is less about writing and more about books. My current schedule is a HUGE time commitment, and while I LOVE it. Please, don't get me wrong, I love my blog, this was not a quickly decided process. I am going to be lessening some of my weekly content so I can focus more on writing and getting novels finished and out to you, because let's face it, that's what my entire reason for being here is about.
Without further ado, here's the new and improved Imaginary Adventures content schedule:
All of this means I am not going anywhere. You'll still hear from me at least once a week here, and twice a week on Channillo. As always, if you have questions, comments, or suggestions please leave them in the comment below of reach out to me via email, twitter, or other social media.
Thanks as always and happy reading!
