I’ve got some GREAT news, but first, I’d like to say thank you. Thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings, my musings, and my crazy imaginary adventures.  Because of your support I decided to apply for a series on Channillo.com and as of yesterday, I was accepted! In the coming weeks I’ll be creating, editing, and formatting new content that will be available for a small subscription fee. I’ll write up a blog post prior to its start and explain it all, but for now, enjoy a fiction Friday doodle.

Happy Reading!

Muse: 642 Things + Me
Prompt: As “Dear Kitten,” what would you tell your humans about the new crying baby who now lives with you.

Dear humans.
You’re getting creative with the prison punishments.
The smell alone makes my fur stand up and the screams will deafen me long before my release.  You’ve been lax with the feed hours too, and the food budget must have been cut.  I have noticed.  Tell the time human to keep its paws to it self.  My tail is not a toy.  You and the man have been less attentive to my daily massage requirements too.  I expect that to improve.

Dear humans, was the little human necessary?  I shall await their pet offering until they are less wet.
But I will remember.

Be my muse and leave a prompt idea, feedback, or even just a word in the comments below or via twitter, fb, or email and I will use your suggestions for future Fiction Friday content.  Together we can create something wonderful and I can’t wait!

Dear humans,

Over the last eternity I've been worry-some about what you have been doing. You had some strange interest in the size of your belly. At first I was quite partial to the new mountain of human I could rest against, but then it began to move.

Obviously you have a parasite inside of you and I feared that you would not live much longer. I tried to kill it for you by crushing it with my mighty paws, but you seemed to be under its spell. you brushed me aside at first, but then you wouldn't even let me near it. I feared that you would soon pass.

I tried to give you comfort at night in your last days, but you were less than enthusiastic at my presence. Soon enough, you wouldn't even allow me in the bedroom at night. You left me alone, dear human, with only my litter-box and a few kibbles to sustain me throughout the hellish evenings. Surely this thing inside of you wanted me to die.

Then one day, you came home with something terrible and my original terror of death was replaced with what I can only imagine is the parasite from your belly that was trying to kill me.

This...thing...I do not know what it is. It looks to be mimicking your form. Its face emits horrendous noise and fluids, and it's movements are so unpredictable that even my skills and reflexes are challenged at every turn.

Dear Humans,
I understand what this thing is now. I had to ask the cat next-door to find out. It is a human larvae. You have rendered me sterile, so I had only assumed that you were as well and it was a right of passage into our relationship. I see that was not true. The only solace that you give me now is the food, which seems to have been downgraded to Friskies. Surely you have forgotten me.

Dear humans,
I have noticed your renewed interest in paying attention to me after I scratched up your drapes. I did not want to do it, but I had no other way of communicating my frustration and my fear. It is an acceptable amount. Your larvae and I have reached an agreement as well. It drops food all over the place, and I do not attack it. Sometimes I even let it pet me exactly three times, no more, no less.

Dear humans,
There is hope now. The larvae has it's own room now. And sometimes at night you let me back into your room. I have come to terms with my own sterility. Things seems to be getting back to normal, and the Larvae and I have been slowly becoming warm to each other. Friendly even. I have resolved to take the high road in regards to your larvae, for I have noticed that the nicer we are to each other, the more it seems that life will go back to normal.

I hesitate to say that I even care for it and that sometimes I feel that I have a responsibility to guard it while you are asleep or away. Tonight I shall keep watch over your little larvae. Tonight is my first post.
