This morning I hit 35,000 words!  That's over 100 paperback pages!

With 10 days left of Novel November that's an average of 1,500 words per day until the 30th.  That I can do!

Stay tuned for a new teaser tomorrow!

I started reading a new book yesterday.  I've read it before, but third times a charm right?
New Orleans, Vampires, romance, Atlantean mythology.  If any of those tickle your fancy, I'd suggest picking this one up.
Be advised there is an order to this megalith of a series and this is not book 1.
Enjoy!
“I thought only a wooden stake through the heart killed a vampire." (Amanda)
"A wooden stake through the heart will kill just about anything. And if it doesn't, run like hell." (Kyrian)

I actually got around to reading a book a few days ago.  Travis let me The Night Circus, and holy cow was this book a great read!
Beautifully worded descriptions that immersed you in an ever changing but still familiar world.  Characters that made you want to laugh, cry, and strangle them all at the same time.  The cadence of the book was interesting due to the point of views and chapter formats, but I really enjoyed and it highly recommend it.
Thanks Travis!
“Do you remember all of your audiences?" Marco asks.
"Not all of them," Celia says. "But I remember the people who look at me the way you do."
"What way might that be?"
"As though they cannot decide if they are afraid of me or they want to kiss me."
" I am not afraid of you," Marco says.”

We often forget happiness is required to live, someday it's harder to remember than other.  It's Wednesday, be happy and go brighten someone's day.
"There is no duty we so much underrate as the duty of being happy. By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world."
Robert Louis Stevenson

November 13, 1850: Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson was born to a family of lighthouse designers, 163 years ago today. Like many a modern aspiring writer, Stevenson got a law degree to please his parents, but never practiced.

Word Count, Copyright, and Requesting Progress

So I've got good news and bad news... but the good news is actually rather great news!

This weekend I reached 23,000 words! That's 74 pages in paperback formatting!  I wrote close to 10,000 words last week, yikes!

That brings me to the middle of the road news; due to the fact that I did not anticipate writing this much content this quickly and had not planned for it I have updated all aspects of this site to include my copyright notification.

Now for the bad news... Due to copyrighting reasons I will no longer be posting full chapters to the story spaces but I will leave teasers and bits I feel accurately represent the key story points.

If you'd like to receive complete updates, email me via the comment boxes on the right side of each chapter page to request them directly from me.

Thank you for your continued support and happy reading!
