I’ve got some GREAT news, but first, I’d like to say thank you. Thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings, my musings, and my crazy imaginary adventures. Because of your support I decided to apply for a series on Channillo.com and as of yesterday, I was accepted! In the coming weeks I’ll be creating, editing, and formatting new content that will be available for a small subscription fee. I’ll write up a blog post prior to its start and explain it all, but for now, enjoy a fiction Friday doodle. Happy Reading! ~Eliza ![]() Muse: 642 Things + Me Prompt: As “Dear Kitten,” what would you tell your humans about the new crying baby who now lives with you. Dear humans. You’re getting creative with the prison punishments. The smell alone makes my fur stand up and the screams will deafen me long before my release. You’ve been lax with the feed hours too, and the food budget must have been cut. I have noticed. Tell the time human to keep its paws to it self. My tail is not a toy. You and the man have been less attentive to my daily massage requirements too. I expect that to improve. Dear humans, was the little human necessary? I shall await their pet offering until they are less wet. But I will remember. Be my muse and leave a prompt idea, feedback, or even just a word in the comments below or via twitter, fb, or email and I will use your suggestions for future Fiction Friday content. Together we can create something wonderful and I can’t wait!
![]() A month! Its been a month!? What a crazy few weeks it has been. Lots of stuff happened on the home front, but now that I have real internet again the blog is back up and writing will resume. I've got a brand new writing space set up with a real desk, new Windows 10 OS, and it's even located in a quiet place that will help me make some progress on all the WIPs. Prior to moving, my writing space was featured on another author's blog, Heather Novak. You may recognize her name from a book review I've publish previously, and no, we were not friends when I wrote the reviews, so please don't think that colored my opinion of her work. ![]() If you're a twitter user you may have already met our latest edition to the family. This is Leonard "Leo" Leone named after one great big nerd by another. Leo is an eleven week old pain in my butt who slept through the night last night for the first time (thank the gods) and who keeps us on our toes at all times of the day. Naomi is adjusting nicely and the two of them are starting to bicker like brother and sister already. Last but not least... drum roll please! I was selected as a finalist in the Channillo short story competition! I submitted three shorts and my third one, Beverage Therapy, was selected and will be featured on their site for a subscription fee in the coming months. Stay tuned and I'll have more details on that and some other content I will be publishing on the interwebs really soon. Its been an exhausting three weeks, I've missed more than just my writing and blogging, I've missed you all. I'm so glad to be back and now that I am, expect some AMAZING new content coming! How have you been these past few weeks?
